      Welcome to ...
The Jake Page.
Hi there.  Glad you could stop by.  Pull up a chair, brew some hot chocolate, make yourself at home.

Here are my two favorite search engines.  Both a very good, but Infoseek is better for academic purposes while Yahoo! is better for entertainment.

Infoseek

Type a specific question, phrase or Name

This next link is basically for my benefit, but if you would like to know what the weather is like in my hometown-- Go For It!!!

Estill Springs Weather

I recently graduated from Auburn University.  Sometimes I feel a little homesick for the Plains.  Whenever I do, I always turn to "The SamCam" for comfort.  It is an up-to-the-minute view of the campus from atop Samford Hall.  Check it out on game-day weekends!  Go Tigers!!!!

Speaking of the Tigers, did you know  is ranked No. 3 in the nation in the AP top25 poll?  Click the tiger eyes above to pay proper homage.

A good buddy of mine, I think we all know him as Dirty, has a page out there as well.  Since he promised to put a link to my page on his site, I thought I'd return the favor.  Be careful though, he didn't get the nickname "Dirty" for nothing!

This just in:  Dirtman has put up a great picture page of a group of us on a skiing adventure.  I was "trying" to go with just one ski.  Unfortunately, it is harder than it looks!  Oh, those crazy days on the lake!

Do you create graphics are your computer?  Have you tried Paint Shop Pro ?  That is what I have used to create some of the graphics you see on this page.  It is an excellent tool that is gaining ground (and some think surpass) Adobe Photoshop.  Click the link above to learn more.  Can you guess which graphic below I created using Paint Shop Pro (Animation Shop)?  If so, give it a click!

Looks like it's about that time to give you my links.  You know, all the places on the net that I've found are worth visiting.  I don't surf that much, but the links I've found are cool and I will add more when I find worthy candidates.  If you're wanting to find some cool and interesting sites on the net, but are sick of sifting through search engines then check out my links and see what you think.

Thanks for stopping by.  Send Jake some email at JakeBowers@netscape.net.  He keeps in touch, so you keep in touch.
